We have designed a system of operation that concentrates most on individual attention and learning. Simultaneously, a holistic approach is applied across the curriculum so that both multipotentialites (people with multiple interests and expertise) and specialists may be discovered. We strongly believe no two children to be the same or have similar aptitudes and ability. Each child must be given complete exposure to a world of infinite possibilities so that he/she may choose his/her interests and passions in the most informed manner. We strive to “guide” more than we “train” our students.
This section will highlight some of the activities our students engage in over the course of the academic year. For more information, schedule a visit and we would love to share more about the enlightening experience at L’ecole

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.gov), aerobic activity should make up most of your child’s 60 or more minutes of physical activity each day. Ms. Shazia Rashid heads L’ecole’s athletic programme, which is dedicated to improve children’s health, self-confidence and relationships. During a physical activity, children are able to learn new skills and develop good habits that will remain throughout their lives. Activities include swimming, roller-skaing, tae-kwon-do, cricket, volleyball, throwball, futsal, basketball and yoga.
Strategy and Teamwork
A classroom can only go so far in providing a complete academic experience. The real test of that experience is encountering what a student has learned in the classroom in an external environment – one outside the classroom. These type of activities teaches researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Recent examples include Model United Nations, Scrabble competitions and the school newsletter.
Art supports self-expression and creativity in children. It can be therapeutic and useful in idea synthesis, a skill necessary to succeed in the 21st century. Children will experience self-confidence, creative, problem solving and relationship development while participating in creative art activities. Students join the choir, perform theater, or assist with graphic design on school projects to express their thoughts and inner feelings. This kind of expression can lead to some beautiful projects and memorable lessons learned.
